Gruene River Guest House

The best spot to stay on the river! This property offers everything you could want. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. We came at the beginning of October and were still able to get in the pool/ river.

My family has stayed at many vacation homes throughout the US and the Gruene River Guest House was by far the most family friendly, well equipped and best owners we have ever encountered. The outdoor entertainment accommodations were exceptional. The grounds from the house to the river were perfectly manicured and you could see the pride in ownership throughout the property. Jeff and Lynnae are great people! I highly recommend this home!!

Beautiful home situated on a huge property providing my group with so much room for activities. From the volleyball court to the gazebo by the river to the outdoor grill area - this place has it all! The rooms are perfect for a group of 20 and the owners do a great job in providing all the necessary amenities. The owners are really nice and helpful; I will be staying here again for sure!

We just recently returned from a family get together at Gruene River Guest House where our whole group had an amazing time. Jeff and Lynnae were great hosts, they greeted us to give a grand tour of the large property and during our stay were only a quick call or text away. They were very accommodating to our requests and great to work with overall. We had several small children who enjoyed the pool and the river, where floats and kayaks were provided. While the river was easily accessible and walkable from the house, our group especially enjoyed the golf cart rental (for a small extra fee per day) where the kids could enjoy a ride around the property to look at deer (which we saw frequently) and we were able to easily transport things to and from the river. The separate but adjacent living spaces were all clean and well kept. The house is on 5 acres and felt like a getaway from the city while still close and accessible to anything you might want in New Braunfels, with large HEB grocery stores less than 10 minutes away. We loved our time here so much we didn’t want to leave!! Can’t wait to go back again as a family.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering for our extended family at Gruene River Guest House. We were 4 couples and 5 kids/young adults, plus 2 little dogs. The property was absolutely beautiful and the weather was nice enough for us to have several meals at the outdoor kitchen/dining area. Unforgettable memories were created there. The river and the gazebo made for great family photo sessions!

We had our wedding at the Gruene River Guest House. The grounds are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. Lynnae was absolutely wonderful. She allowed us to tour the property prior to renting, and worked with us on everything we needed or wanted. She allowed us access to the yard at 11:00 AM to be able to set up. There was no one checking in after us, so she allowed late checkout. She was super helpful and accommodating. Everything made for a wonderful weekend.

We just stayed here for the Easter weekend. The house is gorgeous and clean! Very accommodating property for multi-families like we had. Beautiful pool, BBQ area and the property is gorgeous with beautiful river access! Even if you are not one to get in the river, to just go sit on the tables provided right by the river and watch it is majestic. The owner's are very kind and accommodating to make your trip the best! They provided tubes and allowed us to use their kayaks as well. The kids had a blast as well as all the family. Great property to host your event, family function/reunion or just to get away for a vacation. We are local here in New Braunfels and felt as if we were far from home on a vacation and it as wonderful! Thank you Gruene River Guest House! We will be back!

Great rental house! Very secluded location with lots of area and river access. Can easily sleep 20. Has a pool, hot tub and fire pit. Also has golf cart available for rent to make getting to river easier! 100% good rental for larger parties.
